Wherein I discuss 12th C clothing, 12th C daily objects, fibrearts especially narrowwares, renaisance dance, medieval and renaisance cooking, the odd research project (eg seal tags) and anything else medeival I feel like. Eventually most research projects wind their way back to either my love of the 12th C and/or narrowwares, although sometime the route is very ineresting..
What else have I been doing? I've playing with egg tempera at a workshop day. It was fun, and one day when I magically have more time I'll try again with a better idea of what technique to use. (sorry the second shot is so dark that you can't see detail easily - it reflects too much with the flash).
