I posted to the 12th C Garb list back in September about the wrinkly sleeve linings on Astronomia's dress.<BR/><BR/>Despite other other opiions, I'm with you on this. I think there is some quirk to these german dresses where the ruffly lining is a second underdress. Were both seeing these sleeves in misc. 12th c German manuscripts. The Alps are cold...why not wear 3 dresses.<BR/><BR/>I had to take a hiatus from making Astronomia's dress, real life and all. The chemise is done.
